HOLIDAY Workshops FOR KIDS aged 6+ (12,13,14 and 19,20,21 Dec 2017 - 9 til 11:30am)
Well, this was a hit so we're doing it again!
My artist friend, Carolyn Wishart, has been running KIDS ART WORKSHOPS in the Shiny Happy Art studio for me since July. Carolyn is a terrific drawer, painter, teacher, and mum of two, and I am so happy she agreed to do holiday workshops again!
Carolyn will be running the workshops with a second adult assistant on hand (her lovely mum, Nellie).
I think IMAGINATION is the most important thing in art, so I have designed the workshops around a different (and particularly wonderful) children's book each day.
There will be drawing, painting and collage galore!
Each session is stand alone, so you can book your child or children in for just one, or all six! These are the books each session will be inspired by:
TUES 12 DEC - CAT AND FISH
WED 13 DEC - GIRAFFES CAN'T DANCE
THURS 14 DEC - FRIDA KAHLO SOFTIES
TUES 19 DEC - POSSUM MAGIC SOFTIES
WED 20 DEC - THERE WAS AN OLD LADY WHO SWALLOWED A STAR (please note: this session is priced at $66 as it includes a string of fairy lights and batteries)
THURS 21 DEC - BLUE DOG CHRISTMAS
There will be only 12 tickets per session and we ask that parents/grandparents drop and go at 9am. The children will start the session with a story, then get stuck into the art. They'll have plenty to show and tell when you collect them at 11:30!
All art materials are supplied and this class is designed for Primary School children, aged 6 - 12 years.
We'll also supply fruit, cheese and crackers as a mid-morning snack, however if your child has allergies, please bring a snack from home and let us know.
You'll find the Shiny Happy Art studio at 1/3 Progress Court, Harlaxton.
Tickets are $55 per child, per session, including GST.
Our workshop tickets are non refundable, but if you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket to someone else you wish to come in your place.
In the event you forget to come or you are unable to attend a workshop, the ticket is non transferable after the event.
